LoL - Kassadin Protip - Be a Wuss

Alright so here is my Version 0.1 Guide for Kassadin. This champ is a beast if played right but of course, it requires a lot of good timed moves to be successful. If you are a player that seems to die a lot, it's maybe not a champion for you, but I hope that you will try him at the very least.

I've posted what I master in below, so you can check that one out for mastery selection before you get into a game.

Lvl 1: Null Sphere
Lvl 2: Force Pulse
Lvl 3: Force Pulse
Lvl 4: Null Sphere
Lvl 5: Nether Blade
Lvl 6: Riftwalk (of course)

Levels 1-6
Well, for the first part of the game, Kass is a very, very weak player. I can barely manage to get kills in this part and it's very easy to get ganked, so watch yourself. You're going to want to run in a back and forth pattern toward the enemy and try to get them JUST BARELY within your null sphere range, hit them, and back down immediately. Do this whenever the CD is up. If your force pulse comes up, try to get in with another teammate and hit them with the edges. You should be able to get away fairly easily since it has a slow effect. Keep your distance during this and don't get too cocky. It will pay off later game.

Levels 6-12
At this point, you should be able to do some decent damage, keeping in mind that you want to be a hit and run player. If you see a teammate in a battle with an enemy at less than half health, you might want to think about jumping in for the Kill/Assist, assuming they won't kill them by themselves. Riftwalk in(trying to hit them, if not possible, get as close as possible), then slow with your Force Pulse spell. Hit them with null sphere and wait for recharge. Hopefully you will have almost killed them by now or your partner will be able to finish them off. If you are close enough for melee, you can auto attack with Nether Blade to negate some of their armor.

Levels 12-18
You should mostly be jumping in on team battles and getting the ganks on solo enemies by now. If you went AP build, your attacks are going to do RIDICULOUS damage to them and they will fear you. Just make sure you aren't too close to a horde of enemy champs, or you will be mincemeat still. Kass is very strong late game so if you've made it here with a couple of kills and little to no deaths, you will be beasting the enemy.

*Will add more later on, time for a game*

GP - Side Project - Game Design

Well, as you may or may not know, I am also in college for Video Game Design. So for one of my classes, we are making a video game this semester. I am planning on following the design process of this game from start to finish, and then post a link for anyone to play if they wish.

The basis of the game is as follows:

It will be a side scroller game that follows some protagonist character (possibly a garbageman at this point), and his city will be under siege by aliens. There is seemingly no way to stop them, until you find an irradiated pool of fluid left by the aliens. Like any respectable garbageman, you must taste the fluid! When you do, you discover that, despite the adverse health effects, you become incredibly strong and gain superpowers when you drink it. So you will have to balance the adverse effects with the superhuman strength in order to fight the aliens. Here's a couple of environments I've been working on.
PS: Since I will be blogging on two different topics, I'll post the acronym GP for Game Project, and LoL for League of Legends before the title of each blog so you can follow each more easily.

There's a few sample buildings for the town.

What would a garbageman be without the junkyard? Also you can see the nice irradiated pool.

LoL - What should I build?

Well, this is the basic stats I would put for Kassadin, with the addition of maybe an exhaust boost or something along those lines. I feel as though the cooldown reduction plus the mana and experience gain lets you get to full speed just that little bit quicker, which may help you destroy your enemies later on. As for spells, I would have to go with Exhaust and Ignite. I couldn't even begin to fathom how many times the extra damage on ignite has helped me kill a foe, and with exhaust, you can help your whole team catch up to someone if you need a gank on them. Now, I know Kass has a slow spell already and it usually comes up quite often, but it never hurts to sponge some damage either.

If I were to pick a different spell, I would probably swap Exhaust for Ghost, so you can get everywhere just that much quicker.

Out of your League

So I'm thinking of doing a few posts about League of Legends here in the near future, mainly consisting of building and strategy for whatever characters I may be playing at the time. As for right now, I've mostly been playing Kassadin, so I will start out mostly showing him.
